Jinlong obtained his PhD degree from Zhejiang University, College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science, and majored in Nutrition. He mainly focused on the intervention effect and mechanism of food functional factors and nutrients on diseases. During his doctoral study, he investigated the long-term effects of gestational diabetes mellitus on offspring using metabolomics techniques, and the beneficial effects of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 PUFA) on offspring were evaluated. In addition, he studied the intervention effects of n-3 PUFA on mothers with a high-fat diet during pregnancy and their offspring. In February 2021, he joined the Guomics team as a postdoctoral researcher for proteomics big data research.
