Qi received training of pharmacy (2012-2016) in Harbin Medical University and obtained Biochemistry and Molecular Biology master degree (2016-2019) in ICSC in Dalian Medical University. In June of 2019, Qi joined in the Guomics Lab as a research assistant and in August 2021 she changed to Ph.D. student. She is mainly engaged in the research of high spatial resolution human brain proteomics.
