Zhou Zizhuo completed his undergraduate studies at the School of Life Sciences, Xiamen University, from 2020 to 2024, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Westlake University, focusing on cutting-edge research in life sciences. The statement “Proteins are the main executors of life activities” from his high school biology textbook sparked Zizhuo’s profound interest in proteins and guided him to join the Laboratory for Proteome Complexity Science for advanced research. With diverse interests, he is particularly passionate about applying computational techniques and artificial intelligence (AI) in life sciences. During his doctoral studies, Zizhuo aims to integrate AI with life sciences and medicine to address significant scientific challenges and contribute to the advancement of science.
