Jun A, Ph.D. is a Research Assistant Professor at the Westlake Laboratory of Life Sciences and Biomedicine. He received his Ph.D. in Genetics from Nankai University in 2021. His early research focused on the discovery of prognostic biomarkers for prostate cancer through the integration of multi-omics data and machine learning methods. He developed diagnostic and recurrence risk prediction models for castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) and investigated the functional role of MCM4 in relation to androgen signaling. In 2021, he joined the Guomics team as a postdoctoral fellow, where he expanded his research into proteomics big data and artificial intelligence–driven data analysis. Since 2023, his work has focused on the development of deep learning methods for mass spectrometry data analysis, with an emphasis on computational approaches for large-scale proteomics.
