Kexin Zhang is currently pursuing a five-year bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, together with a dual degree in Marketing, at Huazhong Agricultural University and is expected to graduate in 2027. In June 2026, she joined Westlake University as a summer research student, working on the functional annotation and prioritization of endogenous peptides derived from body-fluid samples. Her interests lie in integrating bioinformatics, proteomics, and artificial intelligence to advance antimicrobial peptide discovery, antimicrobial resistance research.
